200 round trip

Featured Replies

off on a 200 mile round trip in a few days what can I stick in tank to give car a bit clean out 1.6 tdci

Have fun

200 miles in a Tank, that'll take you ages 🤣🤣🤣

I'd just put some redex in or something, and give it a bit of an "Italian" tune.

I get good results from BG244 i also have a 1.6 tdci.

Redex and/or bp ultimate.

Expensive fill up though.

cheers people looks like we have a winner Redex it is now,, just hope I get no snow in sunny durham lol

Durham?!? Better just hope your wheels are still on tomorrow morning! :wink3:

Dem Geordie kids...

I remember the first time I used redex - in a 1999 1.9 diesel Laguna Sport.

I misread the bottle (easy to do when you don't even look at it!) and put the whole bottle into about £10 worth of diesel.

My car then proceeded to f@rt it's way off the forecourt in spectacular clouds of acrid black smoke!

Ran beautifully after that though!

I would say Shell V power . Good for the fuel system and might give you a few more horses.
