2010 Focus coil and leads

Featured Replies

Could anyone please help with recommendations for coil pack and leads for 2010 Focus 1.6 petrol.

Pop your reg into eurocarparts site it Will list everything you need. Although you do get full sets on eBay for cheaper.

How do you know it's what you need? As mines is original from 2008.

Haven't had the car for long and just replacing all bits that could possibly cause any issues. Probably a bit over the top I know but just want to try and future proof it a little if I can.

Nothing wrong with that.  I too have been going though alot to make mines better and it takes time but the more you renew the better it starts to feel :)

I believe Bosch are the ones Ford use so is it best to replace with the same?

Thanks for that.

No probs.

Can the aftermarket leads be as good as the original Ford ones as there is quite a difference in price? Any specific recommendations from anyone on makes of leads they have used without any issues please.

To be honest I would use ford parts or OEM as cheaper alternatives dont seem to last as long.

Do Bosch make the leads for Ford?

Replaced my coil pack with a "Hella" brand one as ECP did not have the Bosch in stock (and could not tell me when it would be in). Has not missed a beat since installation, and looked identical except for a covering over the epoxy on the top.
