ford focus engine special parts

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm changing my focus mk1 1.6 16v zetec for sports use. Ialready bought a couple of camshafts for performance

I needa follower, springcaps and springs for Camshafts up  to 9.5 mm.

does anyone have a kit or know where I can buy it?

 thank's

Burton Power will probably be able to supply these, but they probably won't be cheap!

The costs involved to gain a considerable amount of power out of this engine will be pretty high.

In my opinion it will be much easier and cheaper to buy a ST170 with rear end damage and transplant the ST170 engine, transmission and brakes.

Or just buy an ST170.  They're cheap enough that it would likely work out no more expensive, and a lot less grief, than fannying about swapping engines or cams etc.
