Dealings with "buy any car" type companies

Has anyone on here used anything like we buy any car or similar? A relative has had to give up driving for medical reasons and now has a car to sell. It is just a plain runabout and nothing unusual or valuable. They don't want the trouble of trying to sell it privately. I would be interested in any real world stories, good or bad, of using any of these companies.

Error messages after brake pad change

Hi I have a ford focus st line x 2019 and this week I had both front and rear pads changed, almost immediately after collection I had 2 error messages...Hill start assist not available and then collision assist not available, took it straight back to garage and 1.5 days of diagnosis failed to stop messages popping up, they are accompanied by the yellow spanner light, which remains on constantly. And now I have just had a new message, about the brakes saying reduced power, which made my car lose

    Park pilot randomly coming on

Hi Yesterday I parked as normal outside my garage and the park pilot beeped as expected. I started the car this morning and the park pilot keeps randomly popping up on the dashboard when I’m driving on a normal road and not near anything!  Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks in advance

2019 EcoSport Titanium 2.0L Voltage Overcharge

I recently had to replace my battery, it wasn't charging properly and the tester indicated a bad cell. After replacing the battery and starting the EcoSport, the tester indicates an overcharge of 14.85 volts, s/b 14.3 or less. I've looked for the "voltage regulator" and a "Voltage Converter" comes up. Part no. DS7Z-19G317-J, is this the right part to replace? Where is it located in the vehicle? I've also been told that the "regulator" may be part of the alternator. There is also other light

2009 mk2.5 1.8 Zetec Standard or Sports suspension

So as per previous post and needing to do lower rear control arms, how do I know if car is Standard or Sports suspension.  The wishbones have turned up and they appear to be for standard suspension but look different to the arms on the car.  The arms on the car don't have the reinforced square plate welded to them where the anti roll bar ball joint goes through? Did a VIN Number search and got below info but nothing on whether suspension is standard or sports? Brand: FORD Name: Focus
