hi folks,

im just wondering if this is normal, not paniking or out just curious.

when i turn the ignition to 2, where it does all the startup checks, i hear a "pssssttt" sound coming from the rear of the vehicle, i think.

is this just the fuel pump priming up ready? or some other thing?

is this the same in your car?

like i say im just curious and on a quest for knowledge.

cheers,

john

I think I have heard something, not sure from where though John.

I'll pay more attention next time I get my hands on the car. I do know you can switch off, get out, remote lock it, and then on walking past the front of the car hear something doing a click under the bonnet. And like you I think......um I wonder what that is..........then usually about 2 seconds later I'm thinking about something that really matters like ....is it a cup of tea or a pee first :D
