I doubt the HID's would do any damage, it's usually if the bulb is next to the plastic.

i been told the hid will damge the actual led (drl) as it interfers somehow on the light unit there is a sticker which also says not to use HID

If there is a sticker saying not to use HIDs with the lights then I wouldn't. If any of the LEDs fail you'll have no chance of getting them replaced!

thats true but i also been told by a few people that its fine found a guy on ebay selling the same lights but in black and he said he had HID on and never had problems but i think il take your advice il just put brighter bulbs on. im going to order some badge overlay from dmb but not sure what colout to get. What you think all think will look better my car is panther black so i was thinking either black with orange writing saying ford or black with lime green and if i get black/ green badge il paint the brake calipers green too and orange if i get the black/orange

hids damage drls if in the same lens due to the heat from the hids they can melt or distort the plastic and also dye the pastic as the lens f not designed for hid lights has no uv blocking filters in the lens

thanks for the pic it looks good im leaning more towards the green as its abit more different but i still got time to make up my mind i wish i had pic of the green calipers or badges on a black focus.

hids damage drls if in the same lens due to the heat from the hids they can melt or distort the plastic and also dye the pastic as the lens f not designed for hid lights has no uv blocking filters in the lens

i wont take the risk i wont use HID i just get brighter bulbs which has a blue tint to it.

I went and spoke to the guy i got it wrong its not the wing it the headlight panel he said where the headlight fits on to that panel is to short on my car so he is haveing problem fitting the parts on what is the panel called do you no he kept saying front headlight panel as he wasnt sure what it was called.and also he said he not sure till he tries to put it on but the plastich wheel arch guard might not fit the facelift front end.

I was looking at a thread on stoc forum where someone else has done it but they didnt mention changing of the slam panel. The last page of the thread also shows a list and cost of parts purchased. I think i put the link on this thread...
