I’ve just bought a 15 plate Ford Focus Titanium Automatic, which has the Sync system installed.

There is a tab for navigation, but there is no sat nav available. I’ve had a look elsewhere and I see that it mentions a SD Card being needed. 

The SD Card slot is in the centre console, but I don’t know what one I need to buy. Any suggestions?

I’ve seen a video on you tube which suggests I need to remove the console etc to attach some cable, but I’m hoping that isn’t the case and it’s just a SD Card that’s needed. 

Any help would be much appreciated.

    just need an sd card, ebay. you need an "f" sd card. f3,4,5,6. f6 i think is the latest map data.

    something like this one. there are fake ones on ebay so be carefull where you source one from.
