TPMS reset

Featured Replies

Had a rapid puncture on motorway yesterday but had to run a bit to get somewhere to stop. I decided to get a new tyre as sure the sidewall would've taken a hit due to that. Anyway TPMS kicked in and I got tyre replaced. I had thought I'd need to reset the car but light has gone out on its own. So is this how it works or should I still reset it?

Was also concerned that cause I ran on a bit on a flat that I'd have wrecked the sensor but seems to have been fine.

Pd. I did have a previous thread on the sensor but can't find it on tapatalk search.

I’m pretty sure some of these systems can ‘self learn!

DDS needs manually resetting.  TPMS will reset itself when it sees the correct pressure.
