Double din size

Featured Replies

Evening all,

hoping to pick up a mk2.5 focus this weekend and want to fit a double din and a sub. Looking online line and seeing double dins from 6.2 to 7 inches and was wondering will the 7inch fit?

I think you will find that the 6.2 to 7 inches are the view-able  front screen size, double din refers to the part of the unit that fits into the dashboard and are about 8.2 inches wide over the securing clips and 4 inches high. Not long taken the Ford/Sony cd/radio out of our 2006 Focus and replaced it with an Android type Informatics with all the bells and whistles, DAB, reversing camera, sat nav, BlueTooth.
