I have a Focus mk3 2.0 diesel titanium x power shift 

a) engine fan runs all the time even if starting on a frosty morning. Goes off ok when engine stopped. Temp gauge works ok and seems to take normal time to get up to temp

 

any clues?

    i run aircon all the time but the engine fan still goes full chat with it on or off......

    Engine temperature sensor faulty, have you done any diagnostic's ?

    My 2017 Titanium X 1.5 TDCi seems to run its fan quite often - notice it when I pull on the drive and its whirring away for a while after the car is switched off.
