Hello! Currently in the process of ordering parts to turbo my Focus MK 2! Does anyone recommend any prebuilt Turbo manifolds or is it going to be a case of custom make?

    Hi,

    Just posting to say; you haven't mentioned an engine, I assume petrol but which size? 

    Also going to be a lot of money to turbo a vehicle which isint already a turbo, including an aftermarket ecu to prevent engine malfunction and limp mode.

    The 1.4 and 2.0 petrol engines in the focus are Citröen/Peugeot same with the 1.6TDCi and the 2.0TDCi perhaps broaden the market for you, the only ford built engines are the 1.4TDCi, 1.8TDCi and the 1.8 petrol engines.

    Overall easier to upgrade an existing factory turbo than it is to fit one to a naturally aspirated engine as the piston rings and everything need to be stronger than standard to take the boost pressure.
