Looking to replace my wheel nuts with a new set. Current ones are open ended so can anyone please advise if I need to replace with same? Model is 2010 Focus MK2 1.6 Zetec with genuine ford alloys.

I was quoted 50 quid for a set of wheel bolts  from ford.  However the ford bolts are rubbish mine rattle over speed bumps.

Just bought one of those from ECP as one of mine snapped after coming back from a tyre shop;  thank Andy.  Although, i would advise avoiding Carparts4less, it is an absolute nightmare if there is an issue with the order.  I had to wait 50 minutes on hold to get through just to follow up on a refund they said they'd given and hadn't.  Also they just delivered some service parts and a part was missing.  After the long wait on hold told me they'd send me out the part as priority.  One week later no part!  I know ECP own cp4l but having local branches makes spending the extra pence worth it in my opinion if you need to return anything.

Would still please like to know if i can replace open ended ones with closed ended. Any recommendations ?
