Change injector

Featured Replies

I have a 2007 fiesta with a injector problem. Car is in France and the local garage charged 500€ to replace the last one. Is this a job a competant person could undertake?

Any source for a reconditioned injector. Plenty of second hand ones about and new cost 350£ so loking for refurbished

Any advice appreciated

You would need the injector removal socket, a modified ELM327 cable and a copy of Forscan on a laptop to code the injectors in.

Which engine do you have? I have the 1.6 tdci engine and I got the injectors all reconditioned. You can check my build topic below. I removed the injectors carefully moving it left and right to free it from the carbon which was caked on it. You can either change it for a low mileage one or get it reconditioned. It would also be a good idea to change the copper washer. I didn't need to code the bosch injectors as I put them back in the same place they were in plus these injectors don't need coding.
