I'm looking at buying the parts for Sync 3 upgrade and just need the loom which connects everything together. 

This looks like it will work so I thought I'd give everyone a heads up, and the best thing is it's £30, which is a lot cheaper than some of them out there. It's well reviewed and looks like it's well made.

Hi, 

I've bought the kit to upgrade from Sync 1 to Sync 3 but I need a conversion harness to plug everything together. 

There are so many different types with different names and sometimes the incorrect names as well, labelled as working with cars which they don't.

Mine's a 63 plate Sync 1 so I'm looking for a 2012-2014 Harness. 

I have found this one on Aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005086718745.html

Two questions:

1. Is this the right harness for my car?

2. If so, which one should I choose with regards to the two options - the one with Manual HVAC Controls or the Automatic HVAC Controls

If it isn't the right harness could someone kindly point me to a link where I can buy one?

I know Navi and 4D Tech sell them but they're mega expensive.

Appreciate any help.

Does your car have Manual or Automatic HVAC ? 🤔

If you don't know then check in the owners handbook or post a photo here and I'm sure someone will tell you.

Do you know if that loom/harness will work with my car? I can't see any reason why not unless its designed to work with American Focus cars and they're slightly different somehow but I don't want to buy something from China, wait two weeks for it to arrive and then find out it is incompatible. 

Would really appreciate it if someone knows whether its the right one.

I had planned to buy a crappy generic sync 1 to sync 3 harness from ali/eBay and fix it to my needs, but also stumbled upon this same harness. It looks mostly correct from what I can tell.
