Can't pair phone to radio and lost voice control

Featured Replies

Hi. I've go a 59 plate Mondeo zetec, I've just changed the d6000 radio for a Ford sony radio but lost voice control in car and unable to pair phone and radio. All I can think is the Bluetooth Nokia module is the wrong type for radio!!! Anyone can help

Hi and welcome!

Might be worth posting this in the Mondeo forum, purely to get more views!

I assume this is the one you now have (not exactly, but same shape, etc.)?

That's OK! I've notified admin to see if it can be moved across for you.

As for why it's not working, I'm not too sure but I imagine it could be down to compatibility between the BT module and 'new' radio (as you already stated). I'll let other technically-minded people give their advice!

Did it work before? if so Did you have Bluetooth Audio or just Bluetooth Voice control? I.E. could you play music through it?

Yes it worked fine with d6000 stereo, voice control and hands free and playing music off phone. The Sony stereo I can't play music through it.

  • 6 months later...

Did you sort this problem? If so how. Thanks
