I have a ford focus 1800cc december 2004. The vin number is wfoaxxwpda4y81920. I am trying to buy spare parts on ebay from england but they dont recognise the numbers i give them. Can anyone help with decoding.

I would try and post what parts you need and perhaps remove your vin for safety.

A 2004 is a mk1, so that gives us a starting point to find your parts.

Also by 1800cc I think it is petrol or gasoline, correct?

What do you need?

VIN's don't have i, o and q in them. Change the o at the start for a zero and try again (WF0AXX....).

EDIT: just tried on ETIS and it shows up as a valid VIN if you change it to a zero.
