Adding a wire to car battery via passenger footwell ?

Cut a long story short,

 

is there an easy access hole that i can poke a wire though from the engine bay to the passenger side of the car ?

 

on a MK 2.5 , and when i change my car a MK3.5 ?

    Lift your bonnet & look left side of battery on right at the back on bulkhead .you will see thick loom cable surrounded by rubber bung. Poke thru this. In order to reach this you need to remove your glovebox completely & see with torch for loom entering from engine bulkhead.
