Ford focus dashboard vent problem

I have a 2009 ford ford focus. All the AC vents on the dashboard work other than the one to the left of the steering wheel. No air comes out when the air con is on. Would it possibly be a leak from the air con hose or something else.

    The air is routed behind that dash using plastic ducting, it's pretty easy to remove one of the dash vents (see Haynes manual or youtube videos).  I'd be tempted to pull out the offending vent to check that the open/close mechanism on the vent is working properly and once it's out you can run the fan to see if there is any air movement from the hole you pulled the vent out of.
