Sync 3 - call ringing volume - normal behaviour?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

In my 18 plate Titanium-X (running latest Sync 3 software) when a call comes through, the volume shoots up to 17 (which is deafening!) and when I turn this down, the next time I turn my car on and get a call the ringing volume will still be that loud. Is this supposed to happen? I'm almost scared to get calls now because it makes me jump every time and I'm convinced such a loud volume can't be doing my speakers any good.

Is this normal behaviour or do I need to take it back to the dealer?

Ours doesn't do it. The call volume along with other settings stays the same.

What phone are you using?

Does it have recent software on the phone?

Do you turn the volume down whilst it’s actually ringing? I think you need to turn it down whilst it’s ringing and then it should remember the setting.

Is your phone an iPhone? Have the screen illuminated while your car connects to the Bluetooth and see if the ringer volume goes right up on the screen, if it does feedback here please.
