Does anyone else go to the scrap yard and sell off their old parts?

I've got 3 sets of brake discs sitting in my garage and i just wondered if this was worth doing.

 

 

I have heard of people doing it yes, you have to have a few sets like yourself or it's not really worth it if the tip is closer.

With scrap at around £150/tonne (or 15p/kg), 1 disc would be worth £1.50 ish. 3 sets of 4 discs would get you around £18.

not worth the fuel and time. 

i used to but had a boot full at a time with the car sat on the bump stops. even then it really wasnt worth the effort. 

Same as Ian, I haven't scrapped any iron for a few years now, not worth it unless you're literally driving past the yard.

I would be surprised if you got a pound per disc tbh.
