CD player change

Featured Replies

Hi all I was wondering if it's at all possible to swap my current oem CD player part (BM5T-18C815-XM) to another one with a different part number BM5T-18C915-ZB? Will it be plug and play?

my car is an mk3 st3 if this makes any difference?

Any ideas guys?

My knowledge is not great on CD players but I've got a feeling each is coded to the specific car?  So you may need a code to sync it, not sure if you could just plug it in and play.   I'm not really sure though, but I think I've heard that mentioned somewhere on here.

plug and play..... i think
