Sync iPhone connection issues

Hi I’m new to this club, I have a 2014 Focus titanium X 1.6L eco boost, I bought it 3 months ago & my iPhone 7 connected no problem, but since Wednesday it disconnects phone after 1 second but stays connected for music only, I have tried repairing, deleting pairing , master reset & factory reset but still no joy, it connects perfectly to my iPhone 6 but not the iPhone 7, any help would be welcome

    Are you running the latest iOS? Check on the settings on both sync and phone that the unit is 'allowed' to manage calls. Delete the iPhone 6 and only have the 7 paired, you can pair more than one phone at a time but only one will will be able to be used as a phone. 

    If all else fails then either disconnect the battery for 30 mins or pull the fuse for the unit for 30mins, a bit like the old windows 'turn it off and on again' fix.

    if its sync 1.1 (my sisters car is 2014 and has it....) I'd read this carefully and give the update a go and see where u r

    Thanks I’ve pulled the fuse for sync (67) left for 3 mins & my iPhone 7 is connecting again, once again thanks for all your advice it’s saved me a trip to ford
