Locating the enertia switch on a Mk1 fusion?

My car seemed to go "pop" at the lights and now it won't start (sounds fuel starved). I've been told that it's likely to be the inertia switch that needs resetting. Can anyone help me locate this on my mk1 fusion? Cheers.

    The switch is behind the glovebox, big yellow button on the left hand side.

    But unless you hit something it shouldn't just trip out.
