Mk2 1.6i Engine Cover(?)

Featured Replies

Hi All,

We have recently acquired a 1.6i (115PS) 2007 Ghia into the family. It's done just over 100k, overall an 'honest' car. Had a few niggles and bits to do, nearly all sorted now.

One issue was it was missing the under trays. The front bumper was flapping about all over the place, replacement fitted and all solid now. A few bolts missing on the bellhousing too :0

One thing we have noticed though is the engine is noisy and apparently this is normal. Any hoo, after we serviced it the overall engine noise has reduced but I am sure there must be an engine cover available or fitted as standard.

I've had a look on fleabay and the ones that come up are TDCi's, 1.8's etc. Is there a particular search string I should use? Does a member on here have the same engine car that could post up a pic for me to see by any chance?

Looking forward to your replies

Phil
