Retrofit rear parking sensors

Featured Replies

Howdy, just after a bit of advice 😣

I have an 18 plate ST-Line and I'm looking to retrofit rear parking sensors... I've called a couple of local Ford dealers for pricing and I'm getting contradicting information, with one dealer quoting £250 and advising they will not display on the infotainment screen (just audio) and another quoting £300 but they will show on screen

Do different dealers offer different setups?

I think I'll be capable of adding them myself but unsure what I would need as there doesn't appear to be too much information on the web about adding them

Any assistance appreciated ☺️

Thanks

I can do them if you not far from london

And i have a rear parking module along with loom for rear sensors for sale from my MK3.5 Focus if you want.

And all Ford dealers are retrofitting only aftermarket sensors from the Ford Accessory Catalog so all help for retrofit the original one you can find here on the forum 🙂

I you want to retro fit Ford kit then the costs mount up.

You can fit a non Ford sensor system very easily your self. It will just give you a buzzer in the boot which can be clearly heard in the drivers seat.

I have fitted this type on 3 Focus cars and been very satisfied with the results.

This is a typical offering on flee bay

On the inside surface of the rear bumper, underneath the accumulated dirt, you will find circular marks which show where the hole should be drilled to mount the 4 sensors. The kits usually come with the correct sized drill for this.

It's an straight forward job.

How much are you looking for them?

what else would I need?

Sensors and bracketes

What color car you have ?

@Ben GT i made a guide for it today. And don't know exactly how much for the module and loom. PM me if you want and I will check the prices on internet first.
