I had a pcm update done by fords on my 62 plate 2.0 tdci focus. It almost got rid of tbe strange pull away issue. Well it seems to be returning.is it possible that the update can reverse its self. Also notici g that while sitting on motorways at any speed really the car feels like its jerking backwards and forewRds. Like its holding bk. Ots fine when acceletating just when holding at any particular speed.

    it could adapt a little (self tune) related to the fuel / roads you are driving, the emissions it sees etc.

    pull away it could well be placebo … you expected an improvement, but now used to it and its not changed

    with any tractor its possible they were fiddling emissions and the update has now made it less nice to drive but dropped emissions, less far from illegal
