between now and later. the longer you leave from now the more likely it might go, course it might well last another 80k or perhaps another 10-20 but "Are you feeling lucky....."

As a 9-year-old car it's already a year over the Ford recommended time interval for a belt change. Belts deteriorate over time as well as mileage so you really ought to get it done ASAP (if you plan on keeping the car, see your other post).
