Kyutu
Thought I would share some pics of the Armster S armrest I just fitted to the Mrs 2011 fiesta in the hopes it might aid anyone else who is in the market for one. After looking at a few different armrests we came to the decision that the Armster 2 was the best one of the bunch, but unfortunately they stopped making that one 2 years ago so we settled on the cheaper "S" variant. Installation was a doddle, 4 screws essentially holding it in place, the only slight hiccup being one of the holes in the base lined up with the seam between the plastic cup holder section but it still screwed in ok. Once fitted it's solid and good looking and is positioned well and is really comfortable. Have a look and see fit yourselves:
jace1969
I had a cheaper one and fitted easy, the genuine one looks great but it dont get the arm as with a good aftermarket one it does whats its there for a armrest not just the elbow, also the idea of folding up makes things even better. Looks good...here is mine but did mine a nice while ago but a cheaper one and it slots into my round cup holder at the back and screws under it.
karl46
I found that it's too high, gets in the way of your elbow and was always folded back. waste of time and money, sent it back for a refund.

zain611
They look decent. Never thought hard into getting one. With me I have the habit of not resting my hand on the gear stick so a armrest would probably suit me. Did look at the armster one for my mk6 but it's a lot of money to be honest. For £20 more I bought a second hand rear ST 150 axle 🤣

Kyutu..........I like yours a lot just wanted a very cheap one first see how it was but yours looks great.
Baggi0
Looks great. As i mentioned in the PM the only thing that is missing on the Armster S is the "portable pocket" which is worthless in all honesty lol Heres my Armster 2 from a previous thread for anyone thats interested.
Baggi0
Oh and for those that are thinking of getting one, dont think and just get one lol. Its the best thing i have bought for my car by far.
Kyutu
Baggi0 has the one I wanted, and I still think it looks smarter. It's true that the Armsters are probably too expensive for what you're getting, the cheaper alternative still looks just as well fitting and useful so you can't really go wrong with any of them.Once you get a car that has an armrest built in you kind of get spoilt, I wouldn't want one without now!Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
zain611
The one thing I like with the armster one is the base of it makes it look as if that was there from factory. The cheap ones look good too but overall I'd be thinking about how it would look when I'm selling the car (for some reason)
jace1969
This is my fitting at the back,i didnt have to cut anything just slots in and 2 or as many screws as you want or need but cant see them as they go through the cup holder at the bottom so can take it out and no holes left that you can see. Zane611.......I did think the same but the other way as if i removed it you wouldn't even know it had one as only fixing is hidden and why i went towards this one but mine is hard to get with the square style front cut out as all now are round ones on eBay.
