reverse light now not working after fitting dach cam

Hi, All stressed! Was fitting a dash cam. Locating the green and yellow wire to connect it for reversing. 

Now nothing works. .I checked the bulb and No 40 fuse behind the glove compartment as in the book with a multitester. All OK! 

Not sure about testing for power as I fear of shorting things out if I have not done so already. IS the yellow and green Live? It must be as the other is black.

When putting the multitester on the bulb terminals,    the OAM tester has a reading, even when not in reverse and also when the fuse is out that indicates a short. At least I think so. 

I just cannot work it out, What other matter do I need to check. Obviously, I have shorted something out but the fuse did not blow??  Ford Zedec 1800 3 door 2004/5 DTCI

    Have you undone the camera wiring yet? It sounds like you may have connected it the wrong way round. You may have also blown the reverse light switch itself. Usually screwed into gearbox 2 pin plug.
