DriverJosh
Hello All, I was wondering if someone could provide me with some advice or your bountiful knowledge. I recently purchased an 08 Focus Ghia, 2.0L petrol, it came with 81,400 miles, 1 previous owner and had no issues except a few cosmetic projects for me to fix such as the alloy wheels. However yesterday I suddenly got a Bonnet Open Warning, and today an engine warning light and my in cab fans have stopped working regardless of climate control settings or with A/C on or off. I have a code reader on order, due for delivery tomorrow. She drives fine without issue or complaint. Any thoughts? Edit: Okay so just now I went out and played around in the engine compartment, turned the engine on and the fans and A/C are working as normal. But still have engine warning light and Bonnet Open warnings. Edited September 5, 2018 by DriverJosh Fans randomly working again, but other issues persist. DriverJosh
Ok so update: Bonnet Open Warning light went off randomly mid journey and then kept coming back on for a split second before going off and staying off... yay! ... for now at least. But the engine warning light has returned, the fans cut out again and now my thermometer is reading minus temperatures... I think there is an issue with the electrics somewhere.
