2008 1.6L Focus Zetec ABS problem? ESP

Featured Replies

Hi, I've code read my vehicle with the ForScan software and its apparent I have a ESP fault on the system. I dont know the codes but will post if it helps anyone. Its basically coming up saying the sensor inside the pump is gone? Online this is said to be a common fault. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem, how they rectified it and costs? Thanks guys and girls.

brake pressure sensor failed inside abs module. ive only ever fitted new or second hand ones, but you can get your own module repaired. a few places repair them. ecutesting.com is one. email them for a price and turnaround time.

Thanks iantt. Appreciate it! what is the job like to do? removal and refitting wise? Cheers

not to bad, battery out, battery tray out. then abs connector off, pipes off , unbolt pump off vehicle. can get a bit messy with brake fluid leaking out. plenty of rags under pump .
