What size wheels do you have? I know they can fit on 16 inch wheels as I did that on my mk6.5 fiesta zetec s.

Bigger discs and bigger alloys both contribute to the "unsprung mass" of the vehicle,

The higher weight of unsprung mass; then the less responsive the engine will become aswell as increased fuel consumption.

If your looking for better brakes I suggest fitting some EBC Green Stuff pads and grooved discs to your existing calipers, even some braided brake lines will help increase the stopping performance without harnessing the acceleration speed.

I've changed up from 16"-18" wheels on my focus I've experienced what unsprung mass is all about 🙁 especially on a diesel engine
