Hi Guys. trying to identify the grey cap on this photo. got a water leak behind it, thank you. ford fiesta 2006 mk6 1.4 diesel

thats the brake vacuum pump. the leak should be below that pump. coolant normally leaks from the thermostat housing just below it.

I had a thermostat cover leak on my old fiesta 1.6tdci. I think the problem is that they are plastic so deform more easily than a good old metal one.
