Injector Fit

Featured Replies

Hello guys!

Trying to upgrade the injectors on my 2009 Fiesta 1.6 Tdci Econetic.

Do those Bosch injectors fit if i get them: code is 0445110297? They are from the 110 engine found in Citroen and Peugeot. Don't know if those were fit to Focuses. Anyone tried this setup?

Thank you !

I have not tried it, no idea if it works. Some of the 1.6tdci engines (earlier ones) are twin cam 16 valve and some are single cam 8 valve(later ones) , i do not know if they used the same injectors or not or if that is another complication in compatability

Hi isetta! Thanks for the feedback

Mine is twin cam 16 valve.

The idea is that i found on a forum that a guy upgraded this stock injectors from a HDI 16 110 16V engine from a Peugeot. As far as I know that is the same engine as in the Fiesta.

I also found this website https://www.hdi-tuning.co.uk/ecu-remapping/custom-remaps/ford-tuning/fiesta-mk6-1600-TDCI/fiesta-tuning-1-6-90-TDCI.html

The 259 one was in the FOcus. Both are compatible to CR/IFL17

I would of thought they do as the focus came with 110 horsepower and the difference between that and the 90hp is the injectors and turbo but like isetta stated it might be different not certain.

Was looking at getting my 1.6 TDCI fiesta remapped by HDI tuning but if I can only keep my car for only 2 years because of the emissions charge there's no point 😢

Hello zain!

I'm planning to do the TF035 (except that i got the 184bhp turbo from the F10 BMW) upgrade posted on the HDI tuning forum. I got most of the parts but i'm not sure with the injectors. I will give those a try and if not, i will find a way to sell them. I hope someone can help me out. Cheers

Ok. So i talked to Steve (the guy who owns HDI Tuning Ltd.) and he said that the injectors with the code 0445110297 are the highest flowing injectors and they do work on the 1.6 TDCI HHJE engine. I will purchase those and let you guys know on how everything goes. Cheers and happy upgrading.

It's good you got confirmation about the injectors 👍. You can trust Steve as he's been working on these HDI engines for years. He knows his stuff from what I can tell when I used to message him.

The 1.6 diesel engine is made by Peugeot Citroën PSA group and is used in other manufacturers like Peugeot, Citroën, volvo and mazda. Ford also using them so can't really worry about injectors off a Peugeot with the same engine would fit in a Ford with the Same engine. Only thing which got me was either they might of changed the design of the injectors for the different valves. Don't think that matters.
