2006 ford focus key programming

Hi All.

I have only One Remote 3,button Flat blade Type Key, for my 2006 Ford Focus. And I want a Spare Key, I have the *Key Cut Code*, and a  picture of my  Only Key . I have purchased a Complete 3,button flat Blade Remote Key off eBay, Question, Could I send this Key to a locksmith Via Post, to have it Cut and Completely Programmed, And the locksmith, Then Sends it back to me Via Post.? Can this be done.?
Or does the locksmith have to be in my Car to Completely Programme the Key for me.?

Thanking You Yet Again.

Rob.

The key needs to be set up in the car.
The key with a correct PATS transponder (the part that deactivates the immobiliser) must be in the ignition during the programming phase.

Sent from my SM-G965F (S9+)
