Only sounds like a crunching sort of sound when you blip the throttle but doesn't do it when the clutch is pressed in.. I've uploaded an audio file too listen too. isetta Posted October 21, 2018 Share Posted October 21, 2018 I don't know, but i do know that another way to check is to remove the starter motor and if there are loads of iron filings magnetised to the starter motor and in the hole where the starter sits, then that's a sign, the dmf creates loads of iron filings as it's wearing out.
