Juddering under acceleration, engine warning light flashes.

Hi! I was about to take my son to his football match this Morning, when a short distance down the road the car juddered under acceleration. With this the engine warning light flashed on and off. Performance obviously wasn't great either. I'm in no way mechanically minded, so any thoughts as to what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated. Just for reference I have a focus titanium 1.6 2012 model. It's done 14500 miles and was serviced just under 2 months ago.

    Which 1.6, is it the EcoBoost or Ti-VCT?  Also is that mileage correct, only 14.5k in 6 years?
