Mk2.5 rear anti roll bar link

Featured Replies

So the anti roll bar linkage on our 2008 focus is past it's best 😂,  I've purchased some cheap ones from eBay (this car is just our run about) and i plan on fitting them tomorrow, seems straight forward enough just wondering if the bolts are set to a specific torque?

Thanks

These are very easy to do. I’ve never torqued them, ever

Yeah it seems straight forward, they have a lock thread bolt so is it just a case of nipping them up so there is no slack in the bolt or do you compress the rubbers slightly?

Just nip them up until the start to compress very slightly, just don’t over do it and distort them.

If I’m not mistaken they are only tightened to around 11ft-lb/15Nm
