All warning lights coming on and off

Featured Replies

Hi, Newbie here, Don't know if this is where to ask this but here goes, I have a ford focus lx petrol 2006 model, The other day i started my car and started to move but my foot slipped off the clutch and it bolted forward, A light came on (its the one that has the gear with exclamation mark) so i switched off the engine and started the car again, no lights but after driving for a couple of minutes all the warning lights came on for about 30 seconds but then they all went out again except the gear with exclamation mark, the car does this every time i drive it now. Was looking for any information on this. Thanks in advance

Mine does this too 2006 Lx Petrol. I believe it to be the instrument cluster as I know there is a known issue with the soldering on them.

I fixed mine for a few weeks by unplugging and re-plugging in the dash. Now it only does it if the car gets too hot when I blast the heater.

I believe the only fix is a new cluster or a repair to re-solder.
