Any ideas...

slammed my 2015 Focus estate boot shut but it caught the old blanket and now I have some material caught in there so the lock won’t open using the exterior “handle” or by double clicking the keyfob..

any help gratefully received, cheers, P

Have you tried a bit of brute force yanking the blanket over the back seat?

Happened my 2010 focus,

I had to climb in to the boot from the back seat, pop out two plastic caps in the plastic panel then unbolt the bottom section of the latch using a torx bit,

Not sure how the newer model goes but may give some insight in to what you would potentially be getting in to for an achievable solution.

Double click and pull up at the same time, works for me.
