DRL - possibly switchback - fitting on a MK7 fiesta

Featured Replies

I have a 60 plate MK7 fiesta titanium that im looking to retro fit daylight running LEDs to between the front light cluster and and bumper possibly the switchback version - a bit like https://youtu.be/dvPNEARWXzY however i'd like them to stay illuminated when the main beam is on.

Is this possibe to do and how are they wired in? Is it legal in the uk?

Thanks

There are cheap modules on eBay that switch DRLs to less brightness to make them legal when headlights are on.

Check this link out as the guy has changed his DRL to a switch back style.

The DRLs he use are these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GXCS7J6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just bought them myself whilst away in the USA over Xmas but you can get them in the UK I believe. For what its worth its quite a job to change them so I would not use cheep Ebay ones as youll be changing them out when they go wrong.

Regards Karl
