Front speaker gaskets

Featured Replies

Hi guys I've recently fitted new speakers to the rear doors of my mk2 estate as the original 2 were blown, I used the old mounts to refit new ones from mdf. I had scanned an outline of the original rear mounts to make new, has anyone got something similer i can simply print and use without having to take old ones out first as i find small amounts of time free to do little steps and would rather have everything made before taking the discards and speakers out.

Main reason I'm asking is I also know the rear door mounts and front door speaker mounts are different in sizes hence why I haven't gone ahead with just fabricating new ones with what I've already scanned.

If anyone's in the midst of anything like that let me know! Manu thanks in advance 😃

Hi,

I've changed all speakers in my focus,

The front speaker casings enter the cabin more to allow clearance for the window to drop down inside the panel,

Fabricating your own aftermarket adaptors will take a lot of measuring and effort; I've purchased aftermarket adaptors from eBay and bolted them in with M6 lock nuts and bolts

Fit to the existing holes and provide a space for 6.5" speaker
