Removing front doors

I need to change both front doors on my car. The replacements were removed by salvage yard and the guys told me that the wiring connector in the front wing is difficult to remove. Does anyone know of a guide to removing doors or is there is a 'correct' procedure. I had a search around and couldn't find anything other than removing door cards.

    Removing the doors on a Focus MK2/MK2.5 is pretty easy.

    The trick is to unbolt the hinges and door check arm first en move the door a bit away from the car. Next there is plenty of space to remove the rubber boot and disconnect the connector.


    Replacing the doors is a 2 persons job and it is highly recommended to support the door with wooden blocks to avoid any movements while removing the rubber boot and disconnecting the connector.
