Headlamp Malfunction Fault B14DA light distribution actuator

Hello,

I had a Headlamp Malfunction warning pop up on my dash took it to ford and they put it on the diagnostic machine and told me that it was an O/S headlamp light distribution actuator and that I needed a new headlamp which would cost me around £1,000 to fix! I was wondering if anyone knows a cheaper way to fix it? can I just get the actuator replaced or does it have to be a whole new headlamp unit?

Any advice or insight would be very much appreciated!
