Fiesta 7.5 Dashboard Test Menu.

Featured Replies

Anyone know exactly what the value displayed next to the 'bt' symbol represents?

I assumed it was battery voltage, but at least in my case it doesn't match voltage as measured at the battery terminals.

I'm not sure which value/symbol you're talking about. Can you post a picture?

Sorry Luke, I'm not that tech savvy! I can't even tell you how to get to 'bt' within the dashboard menu because there seems to be some variation between years......eg mine doesn't perform a dial sweep as part of the test sequence. All I can suggest is get into the menu and scroll through till you get to 'bt' plus a number. I thought it was supposed to be battery voltage, but it doesn't seem to be on mine! Cheers.

I didn't think the mk7 facelift had one of those "secret" menus tbh. They're a load of crap anyway. I could do with a picture or at least some figures you're getting unless someone else can be more useful.

Hi am sure its batt voltage and my batt volts did not match the volts on battery when measured , think was only a volt or so out,  but am no expert but car charging etc all seems good .

Agree with Ian318, 'bt' value on mine shows actual battery terminal voltage minus about 1.5v.This difference remains roughly constant as the engine is started and the alternator begins charging. Wonder why?!
