How can you confirm what optional packs are on a car. 

I have a 14 tit x. 

What comes as standard and how do you know what else was added.

Oh, and I have keyless start but I don't appear to have keyless entry. 

Ford etis shows the features on any car but doeS not show what was standard and what was added. I think you cant tell unless you compare your car to a brochure from the date the car was made

What year is this from? 

Keyless start was standard.  There was a lot of standard equipment on the Titanium X, it is the top comfort spec model.  That brochure is the facelift model which is slightly different to yours in terms of spec.  Half leather interior, park assist and xenon headlights were all standard on the Titanium X, but were options on the Titanium.

Optional extras on the TX included -

Keyless entry
Sat nav
Privacy glass
Any alloys other than the standard 17" multispokes
Sun roof
Driver info system (blind spot mirrors, lane guidance etc)
Sports bodykit 
Full leather interior

how?  I even registered and can't get any info of either chassis numbers I tried

Are you logged in?  Still works perfectly for me...

mine works but the reg no box disappears and I then have to alter back to UK from USA under Preferences to get it to reappear.
