Hi guys as the title suggests im wondering of fiesta st suspension will fit on a 07 plate fusion.

Im not looking to do the conversion to pimp out my car boy racer style im just debating whether or not to swap out the suspension to improve the handling, at the moment its vague and turns like a lame cow, now as a cheap and cheerful work horse its great except for the handling.

Its so far proved reliable and good for what i need in a work horse but i really would like the handling to be improved.

Any advice will be greatfully appreciated......unless its buy a van etc

It'll physically fit but will probably handle worse assuming you have a light engine...ST suspension is designed to hold the heavy 2.0 lump.  If you want a stiffer setup, best to go for some ~40mm lowering springs designed for the weight of your car.

Its the 1.6tdci so im assuming its quite weighty.

Can you recomend or link me to any suppliers for these lowering springs

 

I'd always recommend Eibach springs, had good experiences with them myself and haven't heard any negative reviews.  There are cheaper options like Spax or GMaxx but they tend to favour form over function and look good but compromise the ride.

Maybe he way forward is a full overhaul of your suspension it will be a bit tired now, i don't remember the Fusion handling badly.
