Dowdeswelln
Hi All Is there anyone out there experiencing problems with the track/artist details not showing on the display screen when playing downloaded tunes from an Android phone ( Sony Xperia )? I own a Focus Zetec Sport on a 14 plate, this has been a problem for quite a few months now. It simply states ' Playing tunes for a bluetooth device' . I have connected my sons I Phone to the car and the track/artist details appear OK. Hope you can help Neil Dowdeswell
Deano12
I have that issue when playing via a non standard music player on the phone. I switch to Spotify and it works ok. I think it's something to do with the player being used in the phone rather than the ford system. Try using a different media player on the phone and see what happens. Dowdeswelln
Hi Deano12 Thanks for the reply. I have tried on both Sony music and Spotify players but still no luck.

I'm sorry I couldn't be more of a help to you. I've only had the car a few days so still learning the tricks myself. If I think of anything else I'll let you know.
Stoney871
It's generally because amazon put a lot of junk in the filenames. If you look at the tracks in a file browser then a load of alphanumerical bumf shows up before the actual file name.I recommend transferring all your music to a usb stick then rewriting the track names with free software called mp3tag.I have a quick how-to in the guides section which will help you out and make your tracks far more pleasant to access.Sent from my SM-G965F (S9+)
F0CUE
Have you tried deleting the phone from sync then repairing?
Dowdeswelln
Yes, each time I try different solutions I repair my phone to the system. No luck yet.
Dowdeswelln
I've heard that there's an update for SYNC on the Ford website that you can download on a USB stick and download on to your car. May give that a go.

Unfortunately I don't even have Sync on my car which is a pain as no updates for me.
