ThePowster
Hey guys. OK so each time I use my washer jets I get blue screen wash all over my bonnet and wings of the car, it's not a pretty sight. I have looked on here for a solution, found a link to some upgraded ones but it was an old post and the eBay listing no longer exists. Can someone tell me what would be a suitable upgrade to prevent this happening? It's doing me no favours with the chicks let me tell you 馃槥 I have read that some use silicone around the jets but it was not clear how this procedure is done, on underside of bonnet, on top etc, and I would rather just install an upgrade if there is such a thing, surely one off a flash ST or RS focus fits? This is how it looks: Any help mucho appreciato 馃檪 聽

WES180
Just do what I do, put water in instead!!! For some reason though mine aren't working today, I wonder if it's because it's -4 outside?馃 Are your jets clogged or are they just worn? I've cleared my old car jets with a needle before now. Might be worth checking the bottle filter too on a nice day, if it's clogged you won't be getting the full flow which could cause poor spray performance. ThePowster
Thanks for the tips Wes. I'll find some kinda solution with a proper upgrade. Ones on my old Evo were good, might try not bodge a set of those on lol.
Dee_82
They always do this. I fitted some non-return valves and changed them to mist style as apposed to the fork style. It cut down on the leakage somewhat. not perfect but noticeably better 聽
