Problems with the USB socket

Featured Replies

Hi all !

As I said in the title, I have problems with the USB socket.
My player model is AM5T-18C815-PK.
We have recently replaced him, believing that he is the problem.
We have not solved anything, so please let those who are able to give me some suggestions.
How does the problem arise: if I put a stick in the USB socket, when I have the radio turned on,
a message appears on the screen telling me to insert a stick into the socket.
I tried to turn off the radio and then the engine. I introduce the stick, I turn on the engine,
I turn on the radio and the stick play for about 30 seconds, then the message device disconected appears,
followed by the message, insert a usb stick.
From what I know, I have Sync 1.
Thanks all in advance!

have you tried it with different usb sticks etc. is the socket in good order - no bent/dirty connectors

I tried with several USB sticks. Some did not recognize them.
On this, I formatted FAT32, as I read is recommended and the only way to read it,
is to inserted into the socket before starting the engine, and then play for about 30 seconds.
How can I find out if the socket is ok? I was thinking that if he had trouble,
he would not have read the stick at all...

At first glance, nothing special I see... could I use a spray for cleaning, or what could I do?

You forgive me for grammatical mistakes, but I do not master English very well...

I thought the sticks had to be exfat

Everywhere I read, the recommendation was to formatting FAT32 stick.

I will try to formatted it exFAT, maybe it will go like that.
Thanks a lot for your involvement

Looks like the socket is damaged. You will probably have to replace it

I'm going to buy the socket and will replace it.
Does anyone know a code for this, or do you have a link to buy?

I think my problem is from "BLUETOOTH VOICE CONTROL MODULE ECU".

I removed the module below the board, then I plugged a cable directly into

the module jack and still does not recognize any usb stick.
